This is our FIRST of TWO BIG CONTESTS which we host each calendar year!
This particular BIG CONTEST is inspired by our Group's very own:
TEN YEAR ANNIVERSARY and is definitely meant to be one of the BIGGEST, or BIGGEST Activities, ( of which some activities or results will surely run into July, at this point.
)

So Again, We Wish Everyone Associated With Unframed-Nature, A HAPPY 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY! Okay, so THE THEME IS: F L O W E R S.Flowers, in and of themselves, do NOT seem like a very challenging theme for such a BIG important ANNIVERSARY Contest, however, thematically, FLOWERS often fit well for many types of Anniversaries.
And we do see very many images, and submissions in general, of flowers, all the time.
SO, how to make YOUR FLOWER Entry, somehow MORE unique than the others......We would like you to
FOCUS MAINLY on these THREE THINGS:
A UNIQUE PERSPECTIVE
GREAT COMPOSITION
Something ELSE about it, of YOUR choosing, that makes it CREATIVE.
This BIG Anniversary FLOWER Contest, is
OPEN to
ANY MEDIA which is able to portray the theme,
the obvious ones, perhaps some not-so obvious,
and of course including Literature. (MORE below, under "RULES"...)

ONE Entry per Group Member.

NOT currently be submitted to one of our folders.
Though, we ARE basically an All-Media group, just be sure that for this contest, it is
a medium which can express the theme of FLOWERS- hopefully with SPECIAL REGARD to:
A UNIQUE PERSPECTIVE
GREAT COMPOSITION
Something ELSE about it, of YOUR choosing, that makes it CREATIVE.
... AND the fact that it IS our 10 Year Anniversary!!!
IF you are a writer, you may be able to get creative with this, in some way.
Who KNOWS what could happen from Artistic minds.
EXAMPLES OF OTHER MEDIA ALLOWED:
Photography, Traditional, Digital, Fractals, Fractal-Manipulations, Photo-Manipulations, Literature (such as Poetry)-
(not sure? ask. But remember,
if it's about a flower (or flowers) with a unique perspective, great composition, and/or something ELSE, of YOUR choosing, that makes it CREATIVE, then it will work... use your imagination!
)
WHAT ELSE IT COULD INCLUDE:
It could be a single flower, a bunch of flowers, a field of flowers- therefore obviously ALL flowers growing OUTSIDE in NATURE!
And, it could be, close-up, OR a flowers focused at a distance.
However, it could be a setting of
STILL LIFE flowers, too. Cut flowers in a vase, a single or several flowers laying in a bunch on a table or chair or somewhere... Any of these thoughts or ideas might be expressed through fractals, or even psychadellic, surreal, even abstract, again literature, traditional etc.
It's OKAY IF...
There's a little insect involved in the submission, BUT it may
NOT be the focus.
NONE OF THE FOLLOWING IS INCLUDED:
PLEASE, NO AMIMALS, BIRDS, or anything else from the ANIMAL KINGDOM, including HUMANS. (Only insects, is allowed IF they happen to be there, as mentioned above.)
No Human-made objects, if created as an
outside image, the small excpetion is if it is part of a STILL LIFE creation, and then of course it's okay.
But if it's completely out
IN Nature, we would NOT expect to see bicycles, cars, chairs, backpacks, etc. - hopefully you understand. Ask, if you don't.
As always, NO violence, gore, or blood- NO Mature Content!
Simply use common sense as per our regular group's rules!

V.I.R.= VERY IMPORTANT RULE: Please place in the "Artist Comments" of your Entry,

There will be a panel of judges (hopefully) from a variety of artistic backgrounds, who are CANNOT be Members of our Group, (but CAN be Watchers).
If you are already a Member, you may NOT leave the group, specifically to ask to help to be a judge.

Judging will take place from: Thu., June 30th - Sun., July 10th 2016
Results should hopefully follow by: July 20th - July 23rd
Judges will vote based on: The
QUALITY of your work within your medium of choice.
How
CLOSELY you are able to follow and express the Contest Theme, as described above, a couple times.

Introducing JUDGES 
The goal is to have
at least 10 judges.
Our judges have always been comprised of responsible, tactful, artists, who know the group, sometimes who watch the group, but who are NOT MEMBERS of the group. This is designed on purpose to help attain more unbiased results for a contest that is this large.
