March- April 2017 News and Gratitude!

Okay, so... This time it turned into a bi-monthly journal, obviously, for certain reasons, a big one of which being that I've been extra sick, and also trying to put together a rehab schedule for the illnesses that can be improved with time.  These things, of course, are full-time, in themselves.

I think the next one will be the same, as in, MAY-JUNE, because my (bio) MOM is coming to visit, in less than 3 weeks, 2 weeks
(it's taken me a long time to do this, bc so much happening now- finally involved with PHYSICAL THERAPY & MORE OF Rehab- Tai Chi)
from now, and will be here for about a month!  This, will then occupy most of my time, and truly no matter what else, it should, because of ages and respective illnesses, our days are more numbered, and I do not know how many of these chances to see her I truly have left.

As time has gone on, I have realized the challenges in being so far away from my family and some of my original friends from years past. It can feel super isolating at times.  

Additionally, travel in the USA, continues to worsen, with the many many various inconveniences of airfare and infrastructure of our roadways, and the cost of both. And when you are ill, aging, or poor, or any of the previous, it's that much more of a challenge.

So, I share the above with you, just so you know that I will be with my mom, here, soon, and for quite some time, but that another bi-monthly personal journal will be planned!

Again I thank, those who read it, and therefore you know how difficult it was to share such a piece for me. I felt I needed to do something different for this type of... occurrence, to help commence that healing process.

It's true I haven't been here for almost a week, though I did come briefly to do what I could to celebrate a very dear friend's birthday... BGai , , though I was two days late of course.
I would love to say that I was off galavanting around, having a most wonderful time, or at the very least, doing some fun things that make me happy all pain-free and what not, but neither are the case.
So I come here, knowing, that I should go to work, in fact, do some serious work, especially with my Admin. at Unframed-Nature , my apologies to them once again- but wanting them to know, that THEY ARE the next "work project" that is on my list.
It's just that in this brief-ish interim, I've had a physical set-back on the

Now, THAT, I did not expect. I appreciate so much these supportive and celebratory comments, as well as the participation in general.

Separately, I DO hope to get BACK to this, but no space or time here.  Thanks for understanding.

Attitudes of Gratitude; Five for Five

1. My three nieces: M.J., Bon-Bon, & D.D.

2. The guy in line behind me at the gas station who had a bit of extra change, when I didn't know I was short in trying to purchase a small cup of coffee, & a piece of coffee cake, much to my HUGE embarrassment!

3. For just a few moments of physical comfort when I first began working on THIS, today, coupled with a physical peace in my immediate surroundings.
(Recognizing/Acknowleging/ENJOYING the moment.)

4. Playing "Soccer" with my cat Xochitl (Sochee) the one I raised since 1 day old- for without this game that had truly become it's own entity where she is a true natural, I would have no prescribed activity to keep my legs moving- at least using the "better leg" for this game.

5. My dearest "local" friend Shaaron


(Yes it's spelled with two a's, and yes she's amazing- thank the Universe for her;
In addition to my dear dA Friends/Family, I do not know what would happen to me without her.)

The Music on My Mind

Been listening to TONS of and a WIDE VARIETY of MUSIC.


I don't have a video this time.  Just a challenge:

Try to listen to a genre of music you've NEVER tried before. OR to MUSIC from a different DECADE that you've not explored!
Seriously, Just to widen your musical horizons.
