Bouquets and Bouquets of Thanks and Gratitude

The order of the following people, for who this journal is dedicated to, is random- it is in no particular order.

This was a random, rather impromptu- thought of journal, to do as a dedication in honour of quite a few people.
Also, please understand that... well, usually, I dislike to name people in a big dedication because inevitably I will leave someone important out. These are just coming to me from the top of my head, and those who know me best, know that this is not the best way for me to do things ... so, this dedication is NOT limited to those mentioned. There are definitely more than who I've been able to name. This dedication is for those who have done something in fairly RECENT times, to show some certain kindness... to me for certain, but as well as my notice of them also being kind to others:

So, sometimes people wonder why they are being thanked... What are you being thanked for?

Any number of things... the range is so wide... this is a mass thank you to those who continue to be supportive in a variety of ways, such as a simple kind comment or fav' on a work of mine, your patience with me- something that is sometimes more obvious with some than others- and yet I know that patience can be very difficult, which is why I value it so highly, those who have been extra helpful to me in a number of ways in regard to my medical issues, those who have been extra helpful to me in a number of ways in regard to "The Shelter Project" which completely helps me feel like I have a true job that contributes- without that help, my medical would make me feel "less" somehow, those who write me in email, or even send me real mail through the actual antiquated postal service... all of you... all of it, AND EQUALLY IMPORTANT, is when I notice your kindness in your support of OTHERS, besides me. This is very important to me, as I value kindness BETWEEN all peoples, and wish with all my heart that there was more of this.  Thank you ALL so very much... from the bottom of my heart.



I know that a flower feature, might be thought of as something not so creative, but personally, I don't get tired of seeing flower photos, and a big point of this journal is that, if I could in real life, send a BOUQUET of flowers in the name of thanks and gratitude to those dedicated above, (and even MORE, who I did not get to name), I would love to do so.

My personal truth my history with flowers (and other plants) and about colours and flowers:

I have always LOVED and adored flowers. I used to study them, and the meanings behind each type of flower, as well as the meanings of the colours of flowers as well. I even used to study them, along with herbs for their many medical properties within a much more comprehensive 18 month course work called: "Energy Healing and Alternative Therapies" whereby I inherited the name "Tea" because of my favourite part of this overall coursework being the healing properties of flowers, plants, and herbs, especial within the format of tea.  I was apparently quite overtly passionate about it, and so my classmates and friends began to call me "Tea" which fit perfectly anyway, as I had always been called "T." anyway, due to the first letter of my other name.

Before I came to deviantART, over a decade ago, I would always say that though I loved all flowers, and colours of flowers, that YELLOW and ORANGE were my favourites. Yellow, because it seemed to be the happiest cheeriest colour of flowers, and orange, because of the vitality and strength I felt from them.  My favourite flowers though, of that time were Sunflowers, all varieties, but especially the more traditional giant yellow faced ones. I used to grow them where I lived before, and I was able to grow many of the taller than the roof of my house... and often I would harvest the seeds... a MAJOR job to be sure, and then I would bake them. Yummy, and healthy, too. My other favourite flower had been the Shasta Daisy! Oh gorgeous! I know that they are white, but their utter purity and feeling of angelic protection felt very strong to me. They were the happiest flower, in my opinion.

However, about within two years of coming to deviantART, I began to realize through all of the gorgeous photos of flowers from all over the States and the WORLD, that it was more like, my favourite flower was the one I was viewing at the time, kind of like the line from the song that says, "Love the one you're with!"

I'm almost afraid to admit, that I used to think roses were a bit overrated... again until I came to deviantART, and now I just can't get enough of them... I think they are amazing and gorgeous and I can't help but love them... and then I saw RED poppies for the first time EVER, but still only in photos, as wherever I have ever lived, we have only ever had the Golden Poppy along the West side of the USA, but from Western Canada down to Baja California. It's actually California's State flower... I always loved the Golden Poppy as well, but, after seeing red poppies, only in photos, I love them just as well.

Now I also love purple flowers and blue flowers just as much as yellow, orange and white... and the colour of pink in general has traditionally been my least favourite colour, however, due to a great exposure and love of flowers, I have been growing to love pink as well.  In general, not having to do with flowers necessarily, my two favourite colours remain to be purple and green.



My Thoughts About Flowers:

Flowers are the one of the top epitomes of nature... how can so many different types and colours of gorgeous creations pop up all over this amazing Earth... and for us to enjoy as Natural eye candy. They are a wonder that never ceases to amaze me. (Though trees, and the growth of trees, have the same affect on me.)

Flowers "say" a lot. Given as gifts they have great meaning of love, friendship, thanks, apology, expression of sorrow or comfort for the loss of someone deeply loved, and just to randomly brighten someone's day! Flowers have the ability to communicate between people, like almost nothing else.

I would simply like to choose a few of my own floral photos, to share with you, in the finality of this dedication






Lastly, Remember the saying, "The Earth Laughs in Flowers"
