Description
It's coming up on nearly a year since I have changed my ID here on dA.
I wanted to do it nearly six months ago, or so, but anyway...
Here's the photo I've been wanting to use.
It was from my trip to Tucson, Az, in mid-April to see family.
I had taken my nieces Maria and Bonnie to an educational horseback riding ranch in the desert, for Maria's birthday. She turned 10, and Bonnie, is turning 8 at the end of October...
Here is a photo of Bonnie with her horse-for-the-day:
My horse's name was (and still is) Mochi, and she was wonderful... super calm and patient with me, since it had been quite some time since I had been horseback riding. Luckily, it didn't take me too long to "get back into the saddle" so to speak.
And we made a good team!
It was Bonnie's very first time. She accidentally veered off-trail a couple times by herself in the desert, though rescued by our leader, she was a great sport about it, and had a super time!
She would periodically announce, "I'm a cowgirl!"
Both girls loved it, though Maria has been before, (but not to a place like this...)
and we all had such an awesome time!

[ NOTE: Thank you, in advance, for any 's I may receive for this image. I am honoured and grateful that anyone would think well enough to it. So thank you from the bottom of my heart . I understand if you don't have time to comment, but thank you for any kind comments, too.
It's important to know this NOW, as I may NOT be able to do individual thank-you's for 's, or in case I cannot respond to each comment, either. Thanks for understanding.
And, if you just came to view, I appreciate that, too.
