One Year Old Human Raised

In the USA, our Mother's Day is Sunday, MAY 10th!

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL

Wishing all of you Mothers a wonderful celebration, for all you do and all you've done- it's never really over.

To my own Mother, to my dA Mom awesome43 , to my local friend-mom Stormy,
to the mother of my beautiful nieces (MJ & Bon), Norfita, to my dear and LONG-time friend Mouse the mother of my niece (D.D.) in Germany, to Samcatt the mother of little but growing River, and also to LydiaRhianne and her growing baby girl with the "whale theme"... ...
and everyone so lovingly raising the animal members of their family!

Wishing all types of Mothers the very exact same, for if you've raised, and nurtured someone, and/or took care of someone you loved, especially when they were not well, and all of this even when they were not biologically related to you, or even of the same species, then you are equally a mother who should be acknowledged.

Xochitl, was brought to me on her 2nd day of life, her first FULL day of life, after her biological mother rejected her.

She was and is the youngest kitten I have ever raised! I was shocked by it all, her fragility, and helplessness, and my own feeling of helplessness, but I had to learn very quickly.

The year before that, I had raised a very sick kitten from as young as three weeks, and that was also very hard, and touch and go, etc., but THIS, was exceptional in it's own rite... feedings every three hours, for at least the first month, and the constant cleaning, and a lot of details involved. We could spread this out a little after the first month... it was definitely exhausting as I'm sure many of you can relate to. There were a couple scary moments, but overall, she did well... and thrived through the Summer,

which is when her "brother" of quite the same age, was rescued, from a near death experience, which is why he was named Lazarus. We've put his birthday to be the same as hers, but his we don't know exactly. We brought him home, in the Summer and they've been the best of buddies ever since.

Anyway, they had their birthdays on the 5th of May, this past week, and we had a party-
which was shared with Katie Rose who turned 17.
