Greater Than and the Sum of Everything

Dedicated to some lovely friends:
for their BIRTHDAYS, soon, respectively- October 9th, 9th, 11th, 13th, & 15th.

These are wonderful people, artistically and otherwise. I am very happy I have met them here on dA.

I thank each of you for your good natures, and for sharing your work on dA! I wish you the best in your coming year!

This is one of many interesting (I kind of think..) photos I took from "The Trees of Mystery" in Kalamath, California, which is only about 40 minutes South of the Northern border, and really not very far at all from where we live in Oregon. We spent the day here, and what a day it was. If you know me very well, you know I am one of those traditional, tree-huggers:

Happily, I live among them now... so, yeah!
But this place is world renown for having the tallest and oldest trees, (and a few of the strangest, if you ask me! ) on the planet.
Our Redwood Forest here on the Northern Coast of CA. does contain the tallest living tree in the world.


But it's awe-inspiring times and experiences like these that remind me just how there is definitely something greater than ourselves... 
physically, but spiritually. Nature is pure awesomeness, and one great teacher.
