lapaa is just the most amazing girl you could ever meet. Lapaa is very smart, kind, and has a way with words. She's also got her heart in the right place. She's currently taking all commissions she gets and pouring them into two projects. One is a tablet teaching class at her school where she is informing her fellow artists about using tablets and digital art. Informing that even though people use a computer to draw, it's still art. The other is an art book which she is making and donating all the proceeds to Randall Children's Hospital Foundation of Legacy Emanuel Medic

That is right, we have a special event going on during the month of giving! As a group dedicated to giving, we thought it would be fun to grant one wish every single day of the month! Get out your

How it works...
Every single day, MamaLantiis will get online in the morning, update the wishlists, update the database, and pull from the ENTIRE DATABASE three names. She will submit those names to her team who will verify, starting with the first name drawn, that the accounts are still active and within the rules of our group. ONLY ONE wish will be granted (or none if all the users are in violation of our policies which shouldn't happen since we just did a massive clean-up in November). The two members whose wish was not granted simply get added back into the database for future drawings as though their names were never pulled.

To date, we've had NINE days worth of wishes!
Check the groups "Recent Journals" to find them,
and see if any still need help with granting these wishes.

And keep your eyes OPEN for the next ones, -
there will be one EACH day this month!

A learned hand sent a dutiful quill scratching swiftly on a paper's rugged surface.  In haste and urgency, the writer looked not at the candle, which threatened to self-exhaust in the frigid air.  Nor did this person risk a wandering glance around the quarters, which held no luxury, not even a cot.  The pen was not the only sound in the dismal room, for it was joined by the ever-present sound of rats and--tonight--the harsh attack of rain.  The many drops that managed to enter the room splished and splashed into puddles on the floor, surely ruining any chance of sleep for the night.
Though new goose bumps from the cold rose on the writer's arm, this person did not hesitate or even quiver in the cold.  This letter was far more important than any type of present discomfort.  So, dutifully, the quill scratched on.
After a few moments, a single rat made its way into the room, using its nose as a guide.  Left.
