I hope you don't mind if I share something a little bit personal.
I'm not used to sharing things publicly, that are personal, let alone dedicating a whole journal to it.
But... being that we live very far away from any sort of family, and have made so few local friends since moving here,
I feel a therapeutic need to put together a little something here, on dA, where this has been the only online community I have been visiting for almost five years now... it has become a type of family for me...

Supergroup 0.oSo, many of you may have noticed that we have been made a supergroup. $Moonbeam13 approached us and, in appreciation for what we are doing, offered to make us a supergroup (this in addition to granting a wish EVERY MONTH!). It was a very kind gift and we are very appreciative as we will never ever use the points donated to us or our own personal stash of points to become a supergroup. Every point we have goes to the point-based wishes. And that continues to remain true!
So, over this weekend and next week, you will start to see some changes come to our main page as we move things around, design some skins for widgets and journals, start using the poll feature (I LOVES IT), and many more things. I have been adding articles as we have all been sitting in the living room watching college football. Some more Project Educate articles came into my message center along with DD roundups. I know when I was a CV I would use the DD generator to gather all the DDs posted in any given month as soon as the last day of the month went live. Then I would post my article. There are twice as many volunteers as there were when I was one, so it takes a lot longer to click on every volunteer's screen name and see if there is an article of his/her DDs posted yet or not!
