AUTUMN THEME: "Bold Perspectives on Autumn"

BOLD PERSPECTIVE, as far as THIS Contest: A unique and creative viewpoint or view on or about the season of Autumn. Something that really stands out, because the submission is different and creative as far as perhaps, colours, composition, angle, written thoughts/ideas. Maybe it's stepping outside of that box, a bit, and not being afraid to share something really intriguing.

EXAMPLES

Anything Nature-related that would normally fit into our five other regular folders, however WITH some kind of Autumn theme or feeling to it, such as trees or leaves with changing colours, whether they are more close-up or as part of a 'Scape. Possibly images with animals present in an Autumnal environment, in a pile of leaves, or in an Autumnal 'Scape. Literature about Autumn be they poems, lyrics, or visual poetry etc., would also work well here...

the MAIN idea, being that the entry is making some sort of BOLD statement with regard to a unique perspective on Autumn. Those that are the most unique in this way... will have the most chance of winning!

SO BE CREATIVE, and don't be afraid to STAND OUT!

Entry can be old or new, BUT it can’t already be submitted to the Group.
ALL-MEDIA welcome, just as always, as long as the above theme, can be conveyed and reflected.
For Example: Photography, Traditional, Digital, Manipulations, Animation, Fractals, Literature, Visual Poetry, Crafts...

DO, Place in the Artist Comments of your Entry,
stating that your entry is for : devunframed-nature : 's "Autumn" Contest.

THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT RULE!

If you do NOT follow this rule, first, Admins., will leave you a COMMENT on your Entry to give you a chance to correct this, but if we don't hear back from you in a few days, it will be declined.

NO people, architecture, bridges, boats, etc.,
In other words- manmade elements! We have been trying to be more strict on this, in general.
Keep it purely nature!

We may make rare exceptions for human hands, ONLY, in cases where they could be holding domestic mammals such as baby kittens, for example. But, as these are not our favourite, be sure it does NOT distract away from what is the Nature in the photo, because we will reserve the right to ask you to submit something else.

When in doubt, play it safe, and don’t submit anything with human, or other manmade elements.

Judging

There will be a panel of judges from a variety of artistic backgrounds, unrelated to our group- [non-members].

Judging will take place from: Nov. 9th - Nov. 15th
Results should hopefully follow by: Nov. 18th or 19th.

Judges will vote based on:
1. The QUALITY of your work, and also
2. How WELL your entry FITS the THEME,
[although, the Admins. should NOT allow in any work that does not fit the theme in any kind of way.]

Points for Our Group

First of all, Unframed-Nature can not thank enough our very generous Members, and Administrators alike, who have Donated and continue to Donate Points to our Group! A few of them have done so, multiple times!

But, it is especially the time of year again, to mention the finances!

The above Contest is our SECOND and LAST BIG CONTEST of the year.

Plus, we have had a few "Monthly Themes" which we've treated as "Mini-Contests" with a small amount of points, as prizes.
We probably will not have another one like this during the rest of this year... mainly because as far as points go, we don't have enough.

And we DO want to hopefully have a few points to begin the NEW YEAR, so we can do a few more "Monthly Themes"/"Mini-Contests".

The point is, our LAST BIG CONTEST of the year, in addition to renewing SuperGroup so soon after, is actually a bit over our heads, and so we are hoping for some further donations.

In the past, [even the days before SuperGroup] we have always had such HUGE donation of prizes, with PM’s and points, and massive features etc. ...

So we hope for this again!

Last year, we had a huge push to go SuperGroup, as wanted and expressed by the majority of the Membership, and so, near to the end of the year, the Members and Admins., came through with our SuperGroup status.

[SuperGroup has been a very helpful status, afterall, now I admit it.]

Therefore, this is the last big push of the year to ask if you might think about donating again to your Group of Unframed-Nature
