A BIG thanks to our loyal Members who have been here for a while, those who submit work, who vote on our Monthly TOP SUBMISSIONS regularly, who come and give the Group encouragement, support, and ’s and who support our Contests, etc.,
We appreciate all of YOU!

According to our BLOG from just over a week ago, THIS particular month, we were NOT having the Membership vote on TOP SUBMISSIONS of SEPTEMBER, which is what we usually do for EACH MONTH’S voting!

THIS time was Administrators' Choice Month. This process is physically easier, and takes less time for me to go through, but it is the Group’s philosophy that it is the Group’s Group, and we hope to have The Membership vote again next time.



So dear Members, we hope to see you back and voting with us for October’s folder, next time!


And please understand, this was extremely difficult for the Administrator’s to take on for September, knowing we would be unable to include all the Top Submissions in the News Article to share. And it is true... this News Article does not reflect ALL of the Top Submissions we feel that the September folder certainly has! There are just so many awesome submissions, and so many are really spectacular, and with only the Administrators voting, only a very limited number of images could be shown here this time.

Please respect our choices, and thank you all for everything.

Your hard work is always appreciated.


Let’s continue to submit our BEST work, enjoy it, improve upon it, enjoy the work of others, and Nature in general. It’s what it’s all about- combining our art with our love of Nature, and coming together under that commonality!

For now, we use a monthly single folder-system, which makes it pretty simple for both administrators and members when it comes to submissions. Just submit into the current month’s folder.

About Our CONTEST!


Autumn CONTEST: “Feelings of Fall”

Presented by the Group: Unframed-Nature

INTRODUCTION:
For some of us, Autumn is our most favourite time of year. Regardless, as Artists we often see the beauty the changes of the season brings, and it can evoke a lot of feelings  within us. Express your feelings through your Autumn Nature Art, and show us what you’ve got!


DATES:
Begins: Monday, October 17th, 2011
Ends: Monday, November 21st, 2011 at Midnight PST wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/time…

5 weeks long. No Extensions.


RULES:

One Entry per Member.  [Open to Admins.]

Must be a Member. Click to Join.

The Entry can be old or new.

It can be entered into another contest at the same time.

The Entry MUST have a LINK in the Artist’s Comments linking your Entry back to the Group’s Blog about the Contest.

We are an All-Media Group, so as with our regular monthly folder,  Photography, Traditional Art, Digital Paintings, Manipulations, Visual Poetry, and Literature are accepted. Perhaps others, too!

PLEASE, abide by our regular rules which STILL apply for this Contest! PLEASE, review them, as they have been recently edited and clarified during the first part of September.  And, please read everything under our NO Mature Content Rule.

JUDGING:

Judging will take place from Tuesday November 22th, 2011 through Monday November 28th, 2011.

Judging will be based on:

1. How well the Artist carries out the concept of “Feelings of Fall”
2. How well the Artist uses their particular artistic medium, itself. In other words, quality of work.
3. How well the above TWO are done together.

There will be a panel of 8-12 judges, who are NOT currently members of this group, [but they can join if they want after the contest is over]. They will hopefully be from somewhat of a variety of artistic backgrounds if possible, but all of which who are interested in Nature.
