We had about 160 fabulous Fall entries to this Autumn Contest, to share what each participant felt was a "BOLD Perspective on Autumn" and we were just stunned by these truly awesome entries!

This was a difficult contest for our wonderful judges to take on, as they were judging on both quality within the medium as well as adherence to the theme! The judges commented to me, with high praise for all the entries, and our Admins., agree! So, well done to ALL participants.

I can't thank our judges enough for the time and effort they put into this...

So, a GRAND Welcome to ALL of Our NEW MEMBERS!

It is truly a wonderful and loyal commitment to our Group, to take time out each month to look through the beautiful work in our folders, and choose works for our monthly Top Submissions, and believe me, I KNOW it is not easy... given the extreme talent we have here.

Not to mention, it takes time to do this, and we are ALL very busy.

And given that we are a large group, we DO need enough Members to vote, to give a nice enough representation of what is reflected in our folders.

So, as you can see, this is pretty important, all the way around for our Group!

It is why, it is very important to recognize those Member and Admins., of our Group, who are very helpful by participating in this process for us, and therefore supply us with this amazing monthly activity.

Some even voted in two of the months, and some in ALL three!

Whatever amount of help that’s been volunteered,
It is GREATLY APPRECIATED!

There was one other wonderful member who had participated so greatly, by voting on our Monthly TOP SUBS...
but I couldn't feature her, because she de-activated her account.

I always feel sad about that, but... I truly hope she could know how much she was appreciated, in various ways!

Thank You Admins. for December!

Due to various reasons, for DECEMBER we had an ADMIN. Choice Month for our Top Submissions of Dec. 2012.

A couple or few times a year, we do it this way, which does lighten the amount of work for me, but in all honesty I prefer to open it to the total Membership, since we believe this is the Group's Group!

I am SO happy with my fellow-Administrators. They are excellent people and artists to work with, and they do work SO hard for this group, believe me!

These featured here, may be repeated as having voted in the other months, already mentioned,
but I wanted to give an extra feature to the following Administrators who helped me by voting in The Top Subs of DECEMBER 2012, so that I could put that monthly article together.

First, I would like to take a moment to wish ALL of our Admins., Members, and Friends of our Group,
A TRULY WONDERFUL YEAR in 2013!

Below you will find our Group's New FAQ, New Folder Rules, and New Folders for 2013.
This Group News Article, intends to contain everything you need to know, in order to understand what we are about at #Unframed-Nature, and what types of art work we are looking for, in each one of our folders.
We have made a few changes to our current folders, in order to hopefully clarify a few issues we've had during the past year, and we've added a few NEW folders, in hopes to give more meaning to our group, with both a

A few of the changes DO affect our five original general folders,
and the changes include a few NEW FOLDERS!

The above IS a COMPLETE FAQ sheet, so it is long... Scroll to the Folder or Folders that you NEED to familiarize yourself with.

As always, for your convenience, everything you need to know about EACH folder is INSIDE each folder!

Issues We've Noticed Since Re-Opening:

1. We NOW have a separate folder for ANY NATURE work that might contain HUMANS, ARCHITECTURE, or TRANSPORTATION within the work, called: "Humans, Architecture, Transportation in NATURE"

There are still quite a few Members submitting such works to "ALL 'SCAPES" or even "Domestic Mammals" where definitely no humans should be showing in "Domestic Mammals" [sometimes if it's a pet, a little bit of their home might be seen.]

Remember, the focus STILL MUST BE ON or ABOUT NATURE!

2. ALL of our Folders are about Nature, even our brand new ones! So whatever is submitted must be obviously about Nature.
If it is TOO abstract for our Admins., to determine that it is about Nature, and there is nothing about your Title, Category, or Artist Comments, to explain how the deviation speaks to Nature, we WILL ask!

3. In ANY of our Folders, we do NOT accept ANY work that is about or contains:
BLOOD, GORE, or VIOLENCE.

And this is NOT a change. It has always been this way at this group.

PLEASE DO NOTE THIS INFORMATION!
It is difficult for me to continue to move work to the correct folder.

I will begin to remove work that doesn't belong in our NATURE Group, at all, soon, but I really don't want to have to do that.

Thank you for NOTING our Rules! It is so much appreciated, and will make all of the work at our Group, much easier!

Thanks so much Tea. I've been wanting to get on and do so much more than what I have been doing, but my quest for a job keeps getting in the way. Getting a life started is hard lol, I want to go back to high school. If I'm not getting blocked by anything my mind is blocking me. Anyway thanks for the feature it means alot.
