Since the beginning of January 2012, we’ve grown nearly 1,400 Members!
That means, in almost 11 months, we’ve grown an average of OVER 100 Members a month!

And remember, it is NOT as formal as it looks, and of course you do NOT need to know everything,
but it is a very helpful tool for us to assess who might know what.

Our Group’s NEWS & UPCOMING EVENTS!

VERY Important Group News!

Our Group will close down during December.
Our FIVE regular Folders will close a lot earlier than the last day.
In fact, these five folders will close sometime on Dec. 16th.

ONE FOLDER WILL REMAIN OPEN!
We will have a Theme Folder that opens Dec. 1st, with the five regular folders...
but it will stay open, and CLOSE on Jan. 6th- about FIVE WEEKS!
[See Below, for INFO. on the THEME!]

The reason that the group will mostly be closed, except for the Dec. Theme Folder,
is for TWO REASONS:

1. To give the Admins. a much needed break, and lighten their work considerably.
2. To give the group a chance to "breathe" in general:
I will be away from dA for three weeks, starting on Dec. 17th.
But I will actually be returning at the beginning of the 3rd week, for THIS GROUP ALONE,
to do some end-of-the year organization, and re-organization of folders, and to make some changes, modifying some rules, and probably adding a few new folders!

The GOAL is to open the Group again, on Jan. 7th,
and hopefully all Admins., and Members, will take a bit of time to NOTE the changes!

Admins. will be voting on the December folders this time, and probably choosing from the Theme folder, too.

Thank you for your attention to these very important dates, and issues, for our group!

Our Group’s Upcoming THEMES

December - "Decorated Holiday/Christmas Trees"
This theme is mostly JUST FOR FUN!

Opens: Dec. 1st
Closes: Jan. 6th - About FIVE weeks long!

ONE Entry per Member!
Submit One Image of a decorated Holiday or Christmas Tree!
The tree could be your own, or someone else's, - that doesn't matter.
The tree could be outside or inside, as long as it is decorated for the holidays!
The tree could be real or fake - doesn't matter, either.
We are NOT looking for humans with the trees!
But it is understandable if we can see part of the inside of homes.
Be SURE it is NOT a Close-Up of a single decoration or ornament!
It is preferred that the image show 100% of the tree, but at least 80%!
We want to see a WHOLE DECORATED TREE!

All-Media is welcomed as long as it is able to depict an image of decorated tree...
So, of course photographs are welcomed, but traditional, digital, manipulations, fractals, etc. are ALSO WELCOMED!

PRIZES

Well, the Founder, probably with help from the other Admins., will choose a few of our favourites to feature...

but as far as "placements" with possible

it is not yet decided if we will have "placements" with points.

REMEMBER: This is mostly, really JUST FOR FUN!!

I know it feels like it's not time to talk about this yet:

But we want to let you know what IS coming up!

Our Group's NEXT BIG CONTEST

IS CLOSED, and is currently in the process of being Judged by our outside panel of judges!

LESS THAN ONE MONTH AWAY!

Points for Our Group

First of all, Unframed-Nature can not thank enough our very generous Members, and Administrators alike, who have Donated and continue to Donate Points to our Group! A few of them have done so, multiple times!

But, this may be the last time, to mention the finances, before it's time to RENEW our Super Group status!

The above Contest is our SECOND and LAST BIG CONTEST of 2012.

Plus, we have had a few "Monthly Themes" which we've treated as "Mini-Contests" with a small amount of points, as prizes.

We do NOT yet know if we will have placements and points for our December Theme...

And we DO want to hopefully have a few points to begin the NEW YEAR, so we can do a few more "Monthly Themes"/"Mini-Contests" in 2013, WITH some for prizes!

The point is, our SuperGroup renewal is up VERY SOON, [Decemeber 1st] which is right after the current contest winners would be announced. Further donations would be appreciated, and also because we hope to begin 2013 with a few extra points.

Last year, we had a huge push to go SuperGroup, as wanted and expressed by the majority of the Membership, and so, near to the end of the year, the Members and Admins., came through with our SuperGroup status.

[SuperGroup has been a very helpful status, afterall, now I admit it.]

Therefore, this is the last big push of the year to ask if you might think about donating again to your Group of Unframed-Nature
