That means, in almost 12 months, we’ve grown an average of OVER 100 Members a month- about 150 per month, actually!

but it is a very helpful tool for us to assess who might know what.




Our Group’s NEWS & UPCOMING EVENTS!

VERY Important Group News!

Our Group will close down during December.
 
Our FIVE regular Folders will close sometime on Dec. 16th.

ONE FOLDER WILL REMAIN OPEN!

Our THEME Folder, which opened Dec. 1st,
will REMAIN open, and then CLOSE on Jan. 6th- about FIVE WEEKS!
[See Below, for INFO. on the THEME!]

The reason that the group will mostly be closed, except for the Dec. Theme Folder,
is for TWO REASONS:

1. To give the Admins. a much needed break, and lighten their work considerably.
2. To give the group a chance to "breathe" in general:
I will be away from dA for two and half weeks, starting on Dec. 17th.
But I will actually return to dA in the middle of the 3rd week, for THIS GROUP ALONE,
to do some end-of-the year organization, and re-organization of folders, and to make some changes, modifying some rules, and probably adding a few new folders!

The GOAL is to open the Group again, on Jan. 7th,
and hopefully all Admins., and Members, will take a bit of time to NOTE the changes!

Admins. will be voting on the December folders this time, and probably choosing from the Theme folder, too.

Thank you for your attention to these very important dates, and issues, for our group!

Our Group’s Upcoming THEMES


December - "Decorated Holiday/Christmas Trees"
This theme is mostly JUST FOR FUN!

Opens: Dec. 1st
Closes: Jan. 6th - About FIVE weeks long!

ONE Entry per Member!
Submit One Image of a decorated Holiday or Christmas Tree!
The tree could be your own, or someone else's, - that doesn't matter.
The tree could be outside or inside, as long as it is decorated for the holidays!
The tree could be real or fake - doesn't matter, either.
We are NOT looking for humans with the trees!
But it is understandable if we can see part of the inside of homes.
Be SURE it is NOT a Close-Up of a single decoration or ornament!
It is preferred that the image show 100% of the tree, but at least 80%!
We want to see a WHOLE DECORATED TREE!


All-Media is welcomed as long as it is able to depict an image of decorated tree...
So, of course photographs are welcomed, but traditional, digital, manipulations, fractals, etc. are ALSO WELCOMED!


PRIZES

Well, the Founder, probably with help from the other Admins., will choose a few of our favourites to feature...

but as far as "placements" with possible

it is not yet decided if we will have "placements" with points.

REMEMBER: This is mostly, really JUST FOR FUN!!




February 2013 - Theme will be announced when it gets closer!


Our Group's NEXT BIG CONTEST

Super Group Renewal!
WE RENEWED OUR SUPER GROUP STATUS, on DECEMBER 1st, 2012, FOR ANOTHER YEAR!



This could never have happened without all of our amazingly generous donors of POINTS!

Last year, before we went Super Group for the first time, I wasn't sure about the benefits of becoming a Super Group,
but after a year of working within the group under this status, I have utilized many of possible benefits available.

If not for any reason, it certainly does help with a lot of the management side of things, i.e., folders etc.,

Thank you again for being so kindly generous!

As an added bonus for donors of points, Unframed-Nature-PTS will SOON be giving out an extra
to ALL the works that are in our Featured Folder... and remember, that A LOT of the work from the "Group DONORS' Folder" is RE-featured in our Group Journals here, and those works are COPIED into the FEATURED FOLDER!



Points for Our Group

First of all, Unframed-Nature can not thank enough our very generous Members, and Administrators alike, who have Donated and continue to Donate Points to our Group! A few of them have done so, multiple times!



As we look to 2013, for our Group here, we DO plan on having AT LEAST our TWO MAIN BIG Contests, that we usually host, one in the Spring and one in the Autumn...

We would also like to host more Monthly Themes, which we treat as Mini-Contests!

[We do NOT yet know if we will have placements and points for our current December Theme...]

Hopefully, we will plan our FIRST Monthly Theme of 2013, for February...

To achieve the above in a great way, while saving points for the next Super Group renewal,
our Groups' POINTS ACCOUNT will remain open for donations!
