Personal NOTE So yes, I am back, in case by reading this, you didn't figure it out.
I have been a bit overwhelmed, on returning, due to all there's been to catch up with...
but I will be better with it all soon, hopefully.
I DO want to thank you all for your time and patience, especially where my time and work is required.
I was away for 9 days in a row, and for "in a row" that's a lot of days away from dA and the internet, for me.
For a few of those days, I was actually able to go out of town!
The highlight, during
that time was visiting a Wildlife Game Park!
I got to pet, play with, and photograph a baby cougar, a baby bobcat, a baby bear, and for the "smaller babies"
I did the same with ferrets, a white skunk, a raccoon, and a possum!
I also fed and walked among peacocks and wallabies, and we walked among a variety of types of deer, and llamas, and goats!
Just a couple parts of this place was more "zoo-like", with the more adult wild animals in enclosures.
I could not get any good photos of those as a result, BUT... despite ALL THE RAIN, I did get good photos of the animals who we had the interactive experiences with! It was soooooo awesome, and I hope to share a few photos with you all... one day.
I spent the rest of the time off, doing a few other different things than usual, and getting other types of work finished.

Wow, I didn't expect Update #5 to come out the day after Update #4!
Just yesterday, I posted -UPDATE #4- PLEASE READ 75% COMPLETE 100PM PROJECT. As the title states, we were 75% into the project. In 24 hours, we have made up the other 25% and reached our goal of 63,600 points! 
I have to give a shoutout to =rainylake for donating the last 6,189 points!

The time has come to announce our plans for ARKs. Acts of Random Kindness are those little things you do for others that make them and you feel great! You might leave a nice comment for a new deviant welcoming them to dA, leave a helpful critique for a struggling artist, grant a wish at #dAWishingWell, answer a burning question to help a deviant out, donate to a donation pool, give a premium sub to another member, and more! If it is kind, promoting positivity and makes people smile, it is probably an ARK!
This is a great project created by `MzzAzn and expanded by `Hardrockangel!</b>"...each month you commit yourself to doing at least one or two (or more) random acts of kindness to spread positivity throughout the community. Pets in Action contest winners and important newsFirst, I want to start with the important group news.
PetPicks founder, :iconIluvbiscuit2: has been blocked from dA. The location where she usually does work on dA, which includes her groups. Sadly, for the time being she cannot be on dA. For now she has made me, WindintheCoffeeCup, founder. She is very sad that she cannot work on PetPicks and is very sorry to everyone.
And I want to say nothing will change at PetPicks. It's still Sandy's group and I'm just taking care of it for her.

The South Coast Humane Society here, on the SW Coast of Oregon IS keeping me very busy these days... I do the photoshoots of their animals for adoptions for "Adopt-a-Pets" and "Pets-of-the-Week" for the newspapers, plus I work on the photos for the animals and upload them to their page at Petfinder.com.
