Personal Note
My last day on dA and the internet, for a while is: JUNE 30th.
I WILL BE AWAY FROM: JULY 1st through JULY 18th.
I hope and plan to return on: JULY 19th.

TWO REASONS:
1. My parents are traveling a very long distance to visit! They arrive on July 1st.
I have tons to do to wrap things up on dA, and to prepare my home.
I see them only ONCE,
maybe two times, a year.  They are aging... [aren't we all? ]... and they've also had some extra
medical issues in this past year, which a few of you may remember...
So, such a visit is VERY precious for me.

2. Additionally, after they leave, I am going to be taking a small break just for me,
away from as much as possible- all of my work, schedules, and routines.
As a few of you may know from more personal communications, I have been contending with extra health problems, more than usual. So my health is sub-SUB-par.
[Always, good to keep a sense of humour. ]

I don't feel the need for details here, but on the other hand, no need to worry.
I just need to take some time, and things should be better again eventually.

Those in contact with me, by email... I will *at least* be checking email,
during the time I'm away, and I will try to reply if/when possible.

A Personal CauseSince it's inception in 2002, I have participated in the Weekend to End Women's Cancers.  This event involves a 60km trek and a personal fundraising minimum of $2,000. Over the last 10 years I have been involved, I have raised over 50,000 and it's never been easy.  The last couple of years have been particularly difficult because, let's be honest, there are a bunch of causes to support and only so much money to go around.  I completely appreciate that there are numerous causes banging on your door,  however, I will plead my case!  Over the years there are certainly numerous causes that have come to my attention and, like you, I have a limited budget. My cause is pretty simple - it's Cancer.  In my lifetime I have lost family members and it's tried to take my mother, twice.  
I witnessed my grandmother's fight first hand and I can't express the helplessness one feels when y

A Couple Changes to "The Shelter Project"

There are exactly TWO changes, and it's very simple:
