Hello and Thank You to Anyone who has a chance to read my journal. I know time is precious.
HaPpy OkToBeR!! ~~ GIFTS ~~ Thank you to my dear friend Marjolein
for:
I just love it, the words on it, the image, the whole thing!
It's awesome, and her comments about it are cool, too.
I discoverd Marj. on here for her STUNNING papercraft/papercutting talent! I am always extremely impressed by her work! I don't know how she does it. You should check her out, to really understand what I mean. It's like magic!

HERE: maleijn.deviantart.com/ Personal Note UPDATE on Exponentially Increasing Deviations: dA bug still not fixed.
I do NOT have over 1,200 deviations shown on the Stats at the top. Rather, 745, to date, that I myself include nearby at the top.
Kitten UPDATE: Raya:
fav.me/d45m8uv and fav.me/d494u07 .
So about Raya's
2nd kitten I had spotted a while ago...
It looks just like the one we found a few weeks ago, at 5 weeks old, with sick eyes but tame enough and to rescue and take to The Humane Society all mentioned in the last Journal...
To date, it is going on 9 weeks. I CAN pet it, when it eats solid food now with Raya. But, I would need to work with it more for The Humane Society to take it, rather than just spay/neuter and return to my neighbourhood- a 2nd choice, but better than nothing. It's just I am spread VERY thin lately and still on my own. We'll see what I can do.
If The Humane Society named the other one "Tea" after me, I think we should name this one "Mocha"
I have visited STAR and her 3 surviving kittens at The Humane Society.
Speaking of The Humane Society... In addition to continuing The Shelter Project, of course...
I have started to take photos for them for their ADOPT-A-PET advertisement section of the area's newspaper! It's actually two papers in one:
The Daily Triplicate and
The Curry Coastal Pilotand therefore covers a fairly big area.
This should continue, but I just don't have a schedule yet!
Coming up... I was also asked to replace all of their animals' photos on
petfinder.com as well!
This project will take much time over the course of some time... as the photos themselves will be fine, but there are TONS of animals here, plus, learning the total up through loading to petfinder. Still have to be shown.
But I WILL do whatever I can to HELP!!!
Update on MIL, ETC. : My spouse's mom had two surgeries at the same time, and basically did okay, but overall, is having an extremely difficult time. One thing is she has had an awful doctor. They've been trying to find a new and better one, but so far no one is taking new patients, but something different must happen and fast! They are preparing the house for a hospital bed to arrive this coming week. She is not able to get up out of her regular bed anymore, due to inability to move. Getting this bed, is one huge accomplishment...
Oh, a novel would need writing to share everything that's been happening, and needs to happen for this poor woman who should not have to suffer this much.
My spouse has been working so hard to get as much done as possible for her, while there, and will still have much to do for her when he returns from a distance, as much as one can do from a distance...
I admit, I miss him.
We are ever-grateful to how this trip was even made possible for him...
Doing the best I can here on my own, with all that I am having to do, and with my own health, too.
Thanks everyone for your concerns, understanding, and support.
Side Note: I was trying to get some important paperwork to the Post Office in a timely fashion, and wouldn't you know it?
My car died and I was stranded. You know the saying...
"When it Rains it Pours"I didn't know what to do in this new area, which is a lot more remote than where I lived before. But... I figured it out. It took several hours. At least it was not extensive work- battery was replaced on the spot, and while I didn't expect to pay for car work,
- it could have been more serious!
Update on Wind Storm Well, we are already having A LOT of rain... and of course there has not been a chance to fix the roof that blew off of the back part of the house... but at least all the leaking and flooding is over the porch... All I can do is cover some things in plastic, and try to shove plastic in the all the gaps in the roof... [that's not really working...] I keep trying to dry out the materials and things for the ferals/strays cats, at least, because that's where they come to feed/sleep. [3 - 4, one comes inside sometimes. ]
So, there is STILL a lot of extra going on...
It seems it may continue for a while.
I am still doing my best to be on here... but
I am getting around MUCH s-l-o-w-e-r than usual, and it's likely to continue.
So I apologize in advance if my attention here is lacking.
The Shelter Project!
REMEMBER- The Humane Society here, DOES welcome The Shelter Project!
They are happy to have this, and help of any kind.

Special Thank-You's! ~~~
First of All...THANK YOU, [AGAIN] to those who have
'd
"Part 2" of
THE SHELTER PROJECT, HERE:
The Shelter Project was presented first, HERE:
You may not think a
is a big deal with a project like this, BUT it IS, because by
'ing it DOES at least spread the word, and for such a good cause.
Extra Special Thank You to the Following Groups for Featuring The Shelter Project.
has once again featured
The Shelter Project. It was in their last News Article. I am so grateful to them for their ongoing support.
A Feature from their "Pet Adoption Artwork" Folder:
not only named me as their featured member, and said some really nice things about me, and things I do, but the BEST part was the mention and great explanation of
The Shelter Project!
A Feature from their "Featured" Folder:
:thumb194730728:
The names of those who have taken The Shelter Project further in a variety of ways, through their various types of features of the Project,
on behalf of the project, and
Purchases DIRECTLY through Tea Photography© will be placed on my Profile Page with the Custom Box[es] associated with the info. of both Project 1 and Project 2, as well as placed
inside, in the Artist's Comments sections of each one. That way, they will always be there, in case one or both Custom Boxes are moved.
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS KEPT AND MAINTAINED PROMOTIONS OF THE SHELTER PROJECT ON THEIR JOURNALS OR PROFILE PAGES! THIS IS MORE THAN I COULD HAVE EVER EXPECTED! The
Extra Special THANK-YOU Features for DIRECT PURCHASES, are on the Profile Page, on the Left-side.
I've also included
there for the OTHER project that we worked on together, where she sponsored the 5-piece set of framed prints of my images for the Shelter, as asked of me by the manager to donate,
HERE: fav.me/d3cxhwn . While not the same as
The Shelter Project, "The Shelter ART Project" STILL went to benefit the SAME Shelter!
and
are still there, and remain there, for their business AND repeat business of my work.
Repeat business, is not even all that a few of them have done, even though that's thoroughly the epitome of awesome. But the repeat promotions, in News Articles by Jocelyne and the ongoing promotion on her page, and Philippe's repeat promotions in his Journals & News Articles with commentary to the work he's received by me... and Cheryl's and Dana's promotions, too as can be seen on their Profile Pages!
They have worked so hard to help with this, and be very active participants with my work. I never could have imaged, not just better customers, but as if
partners, throughout this whole Project.
