Dear Watchers/Friends and Other Talented Deviants!




So... I was "tagged" [a while ago...] by DA friend

I wasn't exactly sure, when the opportunity would just feel right for me to put these into a journal entry here... [I am so used to using Live Journal.com for all manner of actual writing, and it's not public, only my added friends can see! ]

Anyway, so I thought, due to another milestone here on DA and more friends/watchers on board- WELCOME NEW FRIENDS!!!


... that it might be a nice time to go ahead and follow through with the tagging...

1. I just had my first actual REAL haircut, in approximately 23 years! Not counting the once-in-a while tiny trims. There was so much hair... about 30 inches all together. 24 inches went to "Locks of Love" Enough to make two wigs, they said. I loved doing it, and I love my short hair immensely, even after three weeks later! It was overall a most awesome experience!


2. I have four pets. Two dogs, two cats. Canela is a Beagle mixed with a terrier of some sort- Jack Russel? She will be 13 years old the 26th of this month of May! Malori is a full Beagle and will be 12 in October.

Jikan, is my first cat EVER, who came last Summer off the streets- he turned 1 this last January, which is when Sha-sha was adopted, and she'll be 1 in October. The kitties are just babies really. I have a ton of film prints of the dogs, from back when.

3. I speak Spanish fluently; I am certified as Bilingual by the state of California.

4. I love languages immensely, and would love to be completely fluent in many more. I know some of several other languages and could get along quite well when I was in Italy and Portugal, related enough for me, to Spanish. Currently, I am an ongoing student of Japanese.
That one is NOT easy.

5. I love The Ocean, but
especially on cool cloudy days, or in the moonlight.

6. I miss travelling abroad. It's been quite a while, and I have no idea when it might be possible again. But someday!
As economically as I creatively can! That's part of the fun.

7. Due to increased medical circumstances, the first of which Dx'd at 12, I've had to leave a 15 year long career. I'm in the middle of quite a life transition. Scary yes, but am trying much to lean toward... exciting, too. This is the attitude I need, anyway.

8. I earned a black belt in Kemscrima-Doh, an awesome mixed Martial Art. Not too long after 2nd degree though, I couldn't physically train onward, due to the above. But you can't take the dojo out of the Martial Artist... at least not this one. It's on my mind, in my every fibre everyday.

9. Alternative Therapies and Herbology Courses led to my intense interest in herbal tea studies and toward Eastern Medicine in general and combinations with Green tea.

10. I drink coffee, too.

Now, I'm supposed to tag EIGHT. Yeah, that's easy for me to do... uh, huh, right. Okay... I'm just going to tag the first 8 people who had ever chosen to WATCH me on DA, So here ya go, the "LUCKY EIGHT".....

It was TWO MONTHS AGO today, [MAY 9th] that I joined here at DA, and so much has happened in just two months, both offline in life, as well, right in DA! I count DA among the positives going on in all my life in general, and I'm so grateful that I'm here. I could have never have anticipated what it would end up to be like at all.

I've learned a lot so far, and met SUCH great and generous people. I look forward to more good things from here, and well, how about from life in general.
