the biggest way to see the sun by TeaPhotography the biggest way to see the sun by TeaPhotography
Inside, and looking up through, the largest solar telescope in the world.
Kitt Peak National Observatories.
Tucscon, Arizona.

It was really cool.

This is so cool! I worked a trade show in Tucson in 1995 and didn't know this was there. Am not surprised since the sky is so open and clear there!

Ah really?? That's neat. :aww:

Yes, exactly why it's in Tucson... and the city is very restricted on the usage of lights at night time because of the observatories as well. There are few streetlights, and it's very dark out there in this wide spread-out city in the desert. :D

ALL of my family is living there... except just us up here in Oregon.

It's like a second home though, because I've been going back and forth to Tucson, since I was a baby...

hm... if u have saved original pic /in larger resolution/ that shouldn't be the problem... :)

aw, your photo reminds me that I have an interesting pics from observatory made on the day when was total solar eclipse in europe (don't remember the year but some 7,8 years ago I think); it was so cool but in the same time little scary because in the middle of the day was suddenly like in the evening and the strong wind start just like that...!

Oh, of course. I see. I do have it. So leaving it uncropped and etc. keeping it in orginal state would of course save it in its largest resolution. Of course, makes perfect sense. :D
