Zorra, or Zorra Mia or Zorra Mamita,
really is a cat of mystery. She, of all of them, is our MOST mysterious cat. We know the least about her background, where she came from, before we adopted her, and how old she really is!

Pretty much, she is anywhere between 3 and 8-ish years old, a wide range according to our vet. When we first adopted her, she had a very chronic ear mite infestation, which was difficult to get rid of! :hmm:

But we finally did, with vet's help. But she was, as if being tortured every time we administered meds, and so getting close to her after this, took months! Later on, around October, she had a severe ear infection, and at this time, once again, the vet pointed out her teeth and gums, indicating her probable older age. She has areas of inflammation- maybe age? maybe trauma?

But sometimes, she'll go "crazy" having her own "kitty cat crazy time" and flit around flipping toys up in the air, which to us looks very much like what our younger cats do. And Katie, 11, doesn't ever do this.

Also, she has very VERY photosensitive eyes, which makes her our LEEEAST photogenic cat. She'll [reluctantly] pose for photos, but her eyes do not like sunlight or lamp/studio light, any light being aimed toward her. Even if photos of her are in focus, her eyes at best are still ever so slightly out of focus because we believe they are ever-so-slightly always vibrating in the light.

Regardless, what we DO know for sure, is that despite what only APPEARS to be severe, harsh, or mean in photos, is ACTUALLY the sweetest of all the cats, at all times. Extremely gentle spirited. It truly is amazing what a soft timid and sweet thing, that Zorra is.

Yes, I've said so about Herbie, but he is a follower, a copy cat, so he'll easily pick up "bad habits" from Sha-sha, :giggle:

Zorra is THAT independent, and maintains her OWN personal self, and is her OWN sweet kind loving self at all times.

This bed was meant for Herbie at Christmas, because he is GIGANTIC, and all our home-made beds which they all love, are too small, and the tiny kitten bed for Tsuki, which is Herbie's MOST favourite of all, is WAAY too small. :giggle:

Everyone loves this NEW luxurious bed, *except* for Herbie who acts like it doesn't exist, so all the tiny cats [and Malori, the dog] have been in it!

We're glad Zorra, here, loves it so much!

... yeux ruses
un passe reserve ...
... voies exotiques

mais il est tres bien,
elle est si aimable
et nous l'aimons,
Zorra chat de mystere.

Looks like the calico I had before she passed away. What a beautiful feline you have here.
