It gets cold here, it even gets to freezing and below a few times!

But our type of cold involves being socked in with wet damp fog all Winter, and rarely seeing the sun, except for maybe a few late afternoons, or the day after some really cold rain, and then you've got one day of crisp chilly sun... but the next day, the fog rolls in again, extra thick... insulating that bone-chilling wet-coldness to the ground! brrrr.
And that's the pattern.
Conditions just never quite come together right for snow... but for freezing frosty mornings???
Yes. We have frost! Watch out plants and pipes, they don't always survive the Winter!

I have to say though, Winter does hold some of its own kind of beautiful scenes!

I have two more, that maybe I'll upload, and would perhaps then include them as a mini-series with this one.
