What's Happening?

Dedicated to lovely friends:

for their BIRTHDAYS: MARCH 20th, 21st, 23rd, 27th, & 28th!
I'm sorry to be late for most of you, but you all deserve to be celebrated on any day!

Each of you are fantastic dA friends who I am grateful I've met on dA. To know each of you, is a gift for ME, and yet it's your birthday. I wish you all well in your future efforts.


Jack (left) and Abby (right) are just two of our (many) cats. We called these two our "owl-eyed cats" because their eyes look so much like owls!

Jack is a tabby on white, who was a stray in the neighbourhood around here, when we first moved in. We thought he was feral, because he was excessively skitterish, as well as very sad and forlorn looking. He hung around as much as our true ferals Winston and Raya, who do continue to live with us on our back porch with everything they could possibly need.
We discovered Jack was "just a stray" when we noticed a very tattered collar deep within his long-haired neck fur. I worked harder to befriend him, which actually didn't take so long. The collar had no ID... eventually we worked him indoors, and went to take him to be neutered only to find out he already WAS! We asked all neighbours about him completely with photo, and no response. So we officially kept Jack, with no one coming for him after all of this time.  He's estimated at about five years old. He's such a sweet boy.

Abby, is a muted Tortie who was two years old on March 1st. She was brought in, found as a lone kitten, separated too soon from her mother. We raised her since 3 weeks old. She was extremely ill and it was tons of work, but it all worked out in the end obviously. She's a wonderful little girl! So fun and playful.

In this photo, they are watching some of the other kitties makes some big commotion in another part of the room.
Eh. Just part of how things go around here.
