Togetherness

Dedicated to my good friend Sam in honour of her recent wedding to her long time boyfriend/fiancé TOBY, which was Sat. June 30th.


I have known Sam on dA since nearly the beginning when we both joined so long ago.
She's been a really great friend all along, and I appreciate it.

I was so excited to be invited to the real life event of her wedding, just couldn't find a way to get abroad. And yet, she's made great efforts to make me feel a part of it, despite this.

I truly wish Sam and Toby all the best!


These are a couple of the many kittens we have which will be ready SOON for adoption at The South Coast Humane Society where I volunteer.
This photo will be a "Pet-of-the-Week" in a Saturday edition of the newspaper, coming up soon this month.
Additionally this, and the other best photo, from the shoot, will both be on petfinder.com and fb.
[I couldn't decide between the TWO for here... ]

[ Usually kittens do not have as much trouble to be adopted as fully-grown cats... but the issue is the fact that we have soooooo many of them, and this is the ongoing challenge that highly impacts our humane society, and ALL similar animal facilities, as well as our neighbourhoods... with results of too many cats, many of which become sick, and overall too many are unwanted.

We can do our part, by spaying and neutering our own pets. That is the first thing any of us can do to help.

None will leave our humane society, without being spayed or neutered. ]


The photo reminded me of NEW LIVES starting out TOGETHER, brand new together in the world, and it made me think of my friend Sam and beginning a new journey with her husband, new and together.

It's also a tribute to what has been her own beautiful cat photography!
