The Tea Cup from The Mutt Strutt

Dedicated to my sweet friend Susan who asked to see photos from
The Mutt Strutt and to THANK her for her recent purchase of greeting cards on bahalf of
"The Shelter Project"


Chiko was one of MANY awesome dogs from The Mutt Strutt, our humane society's biggest fundraiser of the year, whose portrait I did on Sunday, August 18th.

All of the dogs did extremely well, except for just one who was a bit of a challenge... but that's not too bad, and there's always going to be at least one!

Anyway, it was a sunny day, so there was a BIG turn out, and there was no need to coax people to get their dog's photos done... however in Chiko's case... I had been watching this excessively cute dog from my booth for a while, and I could not resist, but to finally step out of my booth when I had a moment and ask the owner if she might be interested in a portrait for a donation to our humane society, and she was!

And, THEN, she made a custom order of both prints and greeting cards, using this image- which was one of three custom orders that day!

Chiko did enter the actual Mutt Strutt event, in the category of "The Smallest Dog" being that he was a 2 pound Tea-Cup Chihuahua, but the owner said he did NOT win, because there was one Tea-Cup, smaller at 1.5 pounds!!

Well, Chiko, was a WINNER in our books, and in fact, all of them were WINNERS!
