This is long overdue, but I dedicate this image to my dear friend Pauline

for her partnership on this project that was and always will be very near and dear to my heart.

It was lovingly deemed:
"The Shelter ART Project"NOT to be confused with:
The Shelter ProjectEXCEPT to say that this ART Project, which even had some left over, for a donation, was a DONATION of ART to the SAME SHELTER, which
The Shelter Project:

Last Summer, I was asked by the manager at the Shelter, where I volunteer with the animals, if I could donate my own art professionally framed to the Shelter, which was a relatively new facility and still had some space available on the walls.
While I had JUST fallen further into certain circumstances, I told the manager "YES" anyway, without explaining that I didn't know how I'd pull it off on the financial aspect of it. I had made a list of projects on dA at sometime after that, listing those that would have to wait indefinitely, due to my circumstances... but at some point after that I was contacted by my dear friend, who mentioned that she would like to sponsor the project!!

Thus became this partnership of ART for The Shelter!!
Of course I did the research of cost, and other legwork involved, and it was my first attempt at actually doing "Professional Framing"- of which I think turned out pretty well, and I created some of the prints myself [the three 8x10's] and ordered two of the 11x14 from dA-
all five of the prints turned out really nicely, and the images chosen can be found
HERE:
[link]I kept Pauline

in the loop all along the way as much as possible!

Then I presented the whole project to The Shelter on 12-23-2010, which I wrote about in a Journal here on dA, due to the fact that this was and has been one amazing journey from beginning to end, which I will never ever forget!

Seeing these framed works on a section of the walls in the entry way of The Shelter is a humbling and wonderful thing.

Pauline was a true and wonderful partner, and not just cause of her sponsorship, but due to her encouragement, support, and amazingly kind friendship throughout the whole Project!
She's TRULY one AWESOME PERSON!

And I really enjoy her work, too...
Here is a feature of her work!

Dear Pauline,
Thank you so much for everything. This project meant so much to me, but it could not have happened without out you!
I also appreciate your ongoing friendship! You're one amazing person.

Your Friend, Tea~~~~~~~~~
[NOTE: I just wanted to say, in advance, how especially grateful for anyone's
I may receive for this image.

I am honoured that you would enjoy or think well enough of my work here, to
it.
So I thank you
profusely, and from the bottom of my heart
. And because I do realize time constraints all too well, I understand, if you are unable to also leave a comment.
However, whichever you may do, [or even both!
] I genuinely appreciate it beyond measure. I need you to know this now, in case I'm not capable of doing individual thank-you's for
's, which I've not been capable, or in case I cannot respond to each comment, either. Thanks for understanding.
And even if you just came to view!
I am also very HAPPY
for this!
