Dedicated first to Jo
and the PARTICIPANTS of
The "Notes For Jo" Project:
Thank you so very much to each one of you! And yes I participated, too.
July 23rd: The Upper Left image
displays the contents, and a partial view of the front of the envelope.
The green and blue paper contain the printed NOTES, the shorter and medium ones are on shared pages. There was a really long one that had it's own page. These pages are decorated with stickers. Also included, [before I thought of the idea of coloured pages] is a white page of my own NOTE, and a page of some of my own flower images...
Additionally, I included:
a tiny piece of snowflake obsidian to represent balance, and light coming from dark,
and a natural worry stone, for calm and peace, and three bags of tea for health!
I added a small hand-written note, to say that you ALL would have liked to have sent your own cards, and perhaps trinkets of your own, if you could have with an address, so all of these things were from us ALL.
July 23rd: The Bottom Left image
displays the back of the envelope after it's been packaged, closed, sealed and decorated! There's a note for the family, if they receive it first, to please take it to Jo, for us.
July 24th: The Upper Right image
shows the highest sign at the main post office branch in my hometown, taken from the sign upwards into the sky... I was told it would get there either by Saturday the 27th, or Monday the 29th.
So we'll see what happens!SPECIAL thanks to:
for opening up a dialogue in semi-public / semi-private place in the back room of #DevNews
which led to the project idea by:
These individuals made journals or poles in an effort to spread the word: Yes, I tried, too.
And lastly, I wanted to point out one more thing, but am not sure, if it would be RIGHT,
to NAME the person,
but one of the participants of this project, especially touched ME, at least.
This person wrote an extremely lovely note, but it started out by saying how they'd never met Jo before, but they'd seen the journals, felt the outpouring of love etc., and through this, and some things, they learned a bit about Jo and her character, and felt moved to add their own very special uplifting words...
.... it just made stop and think.
Perhaps the most gracious acts of kindnesses are the ones we act on for those we don't even know.
Food for thought, maybe.
Anyway, thanks again to everyone!
~~~~~~~~~[ NOTE: Thank you, in advance, for any 's I may receive for this image. I am honoured and grateful that anyone would think well enough to it. So thank you from the bottom of my heart . I understand if you don't have time to comment, but thank you for any kind comments, too.
It's important to know this NOW, as I may NOT be able to do individual thank-you's for 's, or in case I cannot respond to each comment, either. Thanks for understanding.
And, if you just came to view, I appreciate that, too.
