I have always been so fascinated by horses... They are just incredible creatures that seem to possess a very gentle quality from deep within, wrapped up in a fantastic magnificence, unique to their species.
To sense this sort of peace and strength all at once, feels so truly beautiful!
We regularly drive by this huge pasture with a few horses, on the way to the dog park, and one lovely evening, I decided it was time for a photo shoot. This was the first shot, and it seemed so quietly regal...
Afterward, this same particular horse came right up to me, putting his nose right to the camera lens. I couldn't believe the astounding friendliness. So, I got a few close-ups, I was happy with, too... and hope to share one or two more of this beautiful horse, at some point.
Beautiful ~Smashing Pumpkins
Beautiful, you're beautiful, as beautiful as the sun Wonderful, you're wonderful, as wonderful as they come And i can't help but feel attached To the feelings i can't even match....

This horse is so beautiful, the most beautiful horse I've ever seen. I watched the film War Horse last night, it was quite good. Even though I have equinophobia, I like films about them, as they are so powerful, gentle and intelligent.
Aww, that's exactly how my mother is. She gets so emotional during films like that.
The first horse film I watched was Black beauty as well. I really like that animated film Spirit: Stallion of the Cimmaron Herd.
Also the horse you have photographed reminds me of Dynasty Warriors Lu Bu's horse; the Red Hare who was mean't to be a noble steed and could run 1,000 miles in one day. The horse did actually exist in ancient Chinese history.
I've never seen a horse like that before. Just stunning!
Great shot!
I really had to photograph this beauty.
War Horse is a great film... but I cried waaaaaay too much during the whole thing.
But then again, I also cried during the first horse movie I'd ever seen, when I was little:
Black Beauty.
I'm too sensitive when it comes to this sort of thing.

I've always admired horses too, too bad I'm allergic to them.
Wow, a horse allergy, huh?
Well, I guess you can admire from a distance.
You're welcome!
