TEA BY THE SEA
Tea by the sea
Her favourite place to be
And if the sun doesn't shine
Trust me,
She won't whine
For she loves the clouds
Just perfectly fine.

~Words by Tea of Tea Photography © 2010

Most people who know me at all, know that I am a huge lover of Nature, and proponent of saving and protecting the Earth. This was an emotive time for me, and remains an emotive scene for me when I look at it, as it breaks my heart over what is happening all over and throughout the Gulf of Mexico.

The ramifications are only getting worse every single day, and its beyond our comprehension. I may be on a different coast, but it affects us all more than we realize. It's already killed people and animals, and continues to affect ALL of our waters, air, animals, and economic industries.

[NOTE: I just wanted to say, in advance, how especially grateful for anyone's :+fav: I may receive for this image. :thanks::aww::rose: I am honoured that you would enjoy or think well enough of my work here, to :+fav: it. So I thank you :thanks: profusely, and from the bottom of my heart  . And because I do realize time constraints all too well, I understand, if you are unable to also leave a comment. :aww: However, whichever you may do, [or even both! :omg: ] I genuinely appreciate it beyond measure. I need you to know this now, in case I'm not capable of doing individual thank-you's for :+fav:'s, which I've not been capable, or in case I cannot respond to each comment, either. Thanks for understanding. :thanks:
 And even if you just came to view! :eyes: I am also very HAPPY :D for this! :w00t: ]

This silhouette of you is very refreshing and beautiful. I love the colors and the beautiful scenery of you just enjoying a cup of coffee or tea maybe. Although this is a simplified photo there is a lot of beauty to it of you looking out to the ocean.  It has a serene look to it. A place of peace and contentment which I wouldn't mind enjoying myself right now.

This is a very charming photo. I like how you serperate the foreground and background by making her a silhouette. It's as if she is isolated from world in her perfect moment of comfort, sipping the fragrant god-tea.

I think it's a great place for doing exactly that, drinking tea and forgetting the world's troubles and sorrows for a little while.

That's an awful tragedy that should not have happened. It is difficult to imagine, but this catastrophe is affecting such a huge area of people and animals :(

Philippe, I am so heart-broken. I can't stand seeing the suffering animals on T.V. ... but I applaud the people that are going in to rescue sea turtle eggs and taking them to Florida hoping they'll have a better chance of surviving there... because they would NOT survive if they were left where they were around the gulf area.

They were dug up from in and around the sand areas. They've tried to find as many as possible, otherwise huge populutions of sea turtles would be wiped out.

But much of marine life is dying in a much more gigantic area than we all realize.

It's the biggest human disaster in history they say, because it's the longest running, a million gallons of oil still spills out each day...

affecting water, air, animals, people in both industry and economy of huge proportions. As if the economy wasn't bad enough.

So, yes. Pretty darn bad. :(

Thanks for your comment and support. :)

It's unimaginable... I never thought that such thing could happen, really... I believe either that it is the worth human disaster, for the impact and the duration. It seems odd to think that the big fear in the 80s was about nuclear war, in term of disaster... Nobody imagined that such spill could happen, however.

OH! Just gorgeous!! :) I love everything about this piece! Especially the silhouette. It's a great way of representing people; to have a person with no face in a setting to remind us that we all need to be conscious of our surroundings. We need to treasure the life around us! :)

BEAUTIFUL work, once again! :)

Cattsy, what a great type of comment. I appreciate this very very much. I understand what you mean about the silhouette, too. I find it very meaningful in art, for various reasons- of course you already described it well.

I love exactly what you said about life, too.

Great comment and THANK YOU!

Thank you so much, Shiny! :rose:

Here by the ocean, the weather is very nice!

The frequent clouds do help!

But unfortunately, I still don't live by the ocean. :hmm:

Where I do live, farther away, it is EXTREMELY HOT in the Summer, and I do NOT LIKE that.

Oh well, one day I hope I can live by the ocean. It will be so much better for my health in many ways, actually.
