Thank you to ALL who love and protect animals, for your help and work is exceptionally meaningful, believe me...
And I DO mean beyond those who have helped me with
The Shelter Project...
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

This is Howard, at
The South Coast Humane Society who is available for adoption, and whose photo will be in the newspapers' "Adopt-A-Pet" and on PETFINDER.COM and on FB, very soon!

Howard, is an exceptionally loving and affectionate "tuxedo" cat, who lost a front leg when a car ran over him, but is recovering nicely from the surgery, and really is getting around quite nicely!

In fact, he has been dubbed "The Escape Artist" because, despite the loss of one front leg, he is quite adept at opening and escaping his enclosure!

Good for you, Howard!
We hope you find a loving home who will love you regardless of three legs, because you are awesome!
EDIT: ADOPTED!
What Doesn't Kill Youby Kelly Clarkson
.....You think you got the best of me
Think you had the last laugh
Bet you think that everything good is gone
Think you left me broken down
Think that I'd come running back
Baby you don't know me, cause you're dead wrong
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger
Stand a little taller
Doesn't mean I'm lonely when I'm alone
What doesn't kill you makes a fighter
Footsteps even lighter
Doesn't mean I'm over cause you're gone
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, stronger
Just me, myself and I
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger
Stand a little taller....

NOTE: Thank you, in advance, for any
's I may receive for this image.
I am honoured and grateful that anyone would think well enough to
it.
So thank you from the bottom of my heart
. I understand if you don't have time to comment, but thank you for any kind comments, too.
It's important to know this NOW, as I may NOT be able to do individual thank-you's for
's, or in case I cannot respond to each comment, either. Thanks for understanding.
And, if you just came to view, I appreciate that, too.

I think many cats and dogs do adapt pretty well on 3 legs.
Thanks much, John!
