Shine

Dedicated to my very good friend Jocelyne for her BIRTHDAY on November 2nd!

[it's still 30 more minutes of her b-day my time, at least... ]

I had a very difficult time to decide between two images that I had in mind... so instead of stressing over something like that, why not give such a good friend BOTH, so that is what I've decided.

Jocelyne has been such a very good friend to me in so many ways. Her friendship is sincere and unconditional and she has been supportive in everything, including The Shelter Project, and everything else I do with volunteering with the animals, which is just so nice of her to care that much.

This is "SHINE" who was first photographed/uploaded HERE: [link] when he was one day old.

Here, above, he is about a week old, and having his eyes open for the first time. It was just before he and his two sisters started to get sick in the eyes... We took them to The South Coast Humane Society a week after this when they started to sick, and they started getting medicine right away for a long time. They are lots better now.

Jocelyne commented to me that she hoped they would get adopted, and well, SHINE at least NOW does have a hold on him to be adopted!!
Now we will hope for his sisters, [and something good for the mom, too...].

EDIT: Shine, and his two sisters, Sparkle and Sapphire, and their mom STAR were all finally adopted!


"Shine" is the perfect name for him, for many reasons, and it is perfect, too, because Jocelyne is someone who shines in my life, as well...
