This is another cat, an adult cat, living at the local shelter where I volunteer. At the time, she was living in "Playroom 2" of which there are four of these playrooms; 3-5 cats will live in each of the playrooms, while there will be one cat per cage, of course, in all of the areas where there are the cages.
Sometimes, a playroom is converted into all kittens for a while when there is a HUGE influx of kittens, and then there will be 10-13 kittens or so in a playroom for an indefinite amount of time.
There are areas in the back part of the shelter where kittens are also housed. The Playrooms are up at the very front right where the public enters, because they look the nicest.
I believe she and a few other cats, who were living here a long time, ended up being rescued by other rescue centers [either San Francisco or the state of Oregon] because once in a while areas that are "better off" come in and will take a few that have not been looked at, when we're too crowded.
But at least this happens at times.
I greatly thank everyone immensely
who has shown and continues to show their support, on the first photo image of the kitten that I uploaded, [link]
which was the FIRST SUBMITTED UPLOAD to announce the NEW PROJECT that is now and finally currently officially underway, which involves ANY and ALL of my previous, current and future domestic animal photos that I submit to share here on dA, with EVERYONE,
whether having dA accounts or not. PLEASE NOTE
: I am NOW donating portion proceeds of any of my art- prints of photos & visual poetry [ & my own professional hand-crafted greeting cards coming this Fall of 2010] depicting domestic animals, sold DIRECTLY through TEA PHOTOGRAPHY

READ in the Cat-Dog Sub-Gallery... [link] Or HERE: "If Only"
with the first uploaded deviation that it was announced with.
Other samples from the cat-dog gallery: I have two wonderful friends who have helped kick off this project with me!
One is not on dA, but the other IS a dA member, and I hope to give credit there, where credit is due...
But I am deeply grateful to the BOTH of them.
~~~~~~~~~[NOTE: I just wanted to say, in advance, how especially grateful for anyone's I may receive for this image. I am honoured that you would enjoy or think well enough of my work here, to it. So I thank you profusely, and from the bottom of my heart . And because I do realize time constraints all too well, I understand, if you are unable to also leave a comment. However, whichever you may do, [or even both! ] I genuinely appreciate it beyond measure. I need you to know this now, in case I'm not capable of doing individual thank-you's for 's, which I've not been capable, or in case I cannot respond to each comment, either. Thanks for understanding.
And even if you just came to view! I am also very HAPPY for this! ]
