Priority Cat

Dedicated to my lovely friend Tina for her BIRTHDAY which was Jan. 16th...
[I'm a bit late... ]


It was also my cat Jikan's birthday- photographed here- just on Jan. 17th!
[He turned 5! ]

Tina has been such an amazingly supportive of friend to me and with my work since I've met her, and what a sincere pleasure it has been to know her since the day of meeting her!
I have also been enjoying her work so much, and her own cat photos!

For those who have known me for a long time by now, know that Jikan is the very first cat we ever took in- not that this means he is our oldest in AGE, of our cats, but he is the one who started it all with our own cats, and getting into cat and animal rescue in general, fostering, and volunteering with foster groups and shelters, and humane societies. Because of him, it all has come to mean so much...

Around the Holidays we had a couple of these Priority MAIL Boxes around, but we couldn't use this one, as it had become adopted by the cats as the new favourite "hang-out" - whichever cat was in it at the time was the "Priority Cat"- and certainly Jikan thinks this of himself. We love him for all he's been through and come through with us, he is amazing and truly a priority...
as all cats should be.
