~meljoy68 is one of my very oldest friends since I ever joined dA and I miss her when she is not here for a while, but I never forget her, and I never will.

This cat is PLUM, and he is plum wonderful, just like these "Birthday Girls"

He was photographed for adoption for the two area newspapers and therefore also uploaded to petfinder.com which can be found through The South Coast Humane Society.
He comes out in the paper THIS weekend... so I don't have THAT caption, but I DO have his Petfinder.com caption, where he does have his profile, and this photo that I used to update his profile!

It says:
^{Plum is a handsome boy. He loves to chase and run with his friends. He is very friendly with other cats and he absolutely loves people. He is very sleek and soft. He would make a great companion for anyone!}

EDIT: ADOPTED!

It's true, as I've spent time with him, and he reminds me of my all black and sleek cat Philippe.
So playful and affectionate!.

Let's hope for the best for Plum, and even the other black cats at The Humane Society here, especially during this time of a SPECIAL PROGRAM called: "MY SHADOW AND ME" that seeks to educate the public about black cats and therefore facilitate more black cat adoptions.

Thank you, Tea!!! I love the photo, and the two pieces of mine you included are two of my favorites! I don't have Bam Bam anymore... we adopted him from the streets, and that's where he preferred to be. So we gave him in and out privileges and he opted for "out". So this photo is special to me. Thank you so much for such a wonderful birthday gift.
