On A Good Day

^{I disappeared for a little while without planning to, and I would have much rathered been able to come to dA, among other things... anyway, I've got a few days again, before my parents arrive... so there have been a few people I had wanted to make dedications to...}

I know this is late, but this is dedicated to these wonderful people:

for their BIRTHDAYS on JUNE 9th, 15th, 19th, 19th, & 22nd, respectively!


These are amazing people, a few I've known a very long time on dA!

I'm sure most of us think of lighthouses for what they were, and what many still are intended for... lighting the way in the dark, or in times troubled waters and storms... and that's exactly it.
For this reason they have become such an iconic piece of architecture for a lot of people, symbolizing things like hope, journey, and finding one's way, and so on.

But seeing this vastly majestic view of this particular lighthouse from this vantage point, by the light of day, was honestly such a breathtaking sight, to say the least.
(Imagine your other senses, too... the feel of crisp clean breezy air, mild sunny skies,... things that that the camera can't capture, but you can fill in, if you try... )

For me it symbolized a time of peace, and that at least for now, or then and there, or in some places of the world, there were moments of calm, or sense of wellness.

These were really nice feelings, that I wish we could all experience now and again- and perhaps at such times, it might feel a bit like a birthday or something!
