he's been such a great friend!
Mocha or Mocha Latte [because as she got older she got a whitish fringe around her neck] is the 2nd kitten of the feral Raya

HERE: [link] the first of all the 4 adult ferals/strays we took care of regularly when we moved here, and who we've been through so much with.
Her first kitten, we rescued at 5 weeks, and it was sick but tame, and
The South Coast Humane Society took it, named him Tea, after me, got him well, and he's been adopted.
We thought he was the only one that had survived, but at 8 weeks, we found Mocha... borderline feral at this point. I tried to work with HER as much as possible when Raya and HER both would come to eat... but it was not easy...
... and due to other personal things going on, we had to wait to do the planned trapping/spaying and releasing back to us- a program through The Humane Society.
When the traps were set only a couple weeks ago, when Mocha was 13 weeks I lost complete physical contact with Mocha, but both Raya and Mocha have been spayed, and are now in our storage building healing for almost a week, where I've been taking opportunity to socialize Mocha. It's slow, but we are progressing...
She loves to play with all the toys, & I can touch her, but not hold her.
The South Coast Humane Society might take her if I can get her to a certain point.
EDIT: ADOPTED!
I don't have a lot of time, so if it doesn't quite happen, they promised to find her a "good barn"- nice and enclosed, where they are treated as a "pet"- not a "mouser" - "mousers" are against their philosophy.
This sounds pretty good to me... but I have some decisions to make, and then there's Raya...
Mother and daughter are good friends by now. hmmm.

Sorry, I was away most of February!
A lot to prepare for, and catch up with when I got back.

Seriously, it could be arranged... somehow.
We are working on socializing her, very much.
She LOOOOOVES toys. She is very sweet. She sits in my lap, when I can get her. She is so intelligent and precocious. She is very good.
I hope Lin will love her.
