Dedicated to my very dear friend Pauline for her BIRTHDAY which was Aug. 26th [Yes, it's be-lated, I think she'll understand!].
Pauline has been one truly awesome friend in so many ways, ever since I have met her on dA, I cannot really even begin to list all the variety of ways she's shown such amazing support... not limited to her support for our dear Jack! Despite the actual distance, it sometimes amazes me how some people are able to reach out.
This is our only *indoor* Oregon cat- Jack! He was one of the many outdoor cats roaming around here when we first moved here, but we soon realized that he was a tame stray, as opposed to one of the ferals. We noticed he had an old shredded red collar- but no I.D., so he had belonged somewhere, but we never located his owners.
His somber, wild, and disheveled appearance, made us think he was one of the ferals, plus, he was very scared. But when we finally noticed the collar, we tried to pet him, and he began to respond... the other strays, a couple pregnant girls, we fostered [and also their kittens] and took to the humane society right after they had their kittens... but we decided to keep Jack, and make him an indoor cat, which did not take long. Although his facial expression has remained a bit forlorn like "Eeyore" from "Winnie the Pooh" the fact that his tail never drags behind him anymore, and is always upright, tells us he is much happier with us, inside!
He is such a sweet and loving boy! First photographed, HERE: [link] and then HERE: [link]
Here is a feature of wonderful Pauline's beautiful work:
Dear Pauline, You are always in my thoughts and heart! I really hope you had a great b-day and I wish you a most wonderful year ahead. Your Friend, Tea

We are all connected, no matter how far away we are-- and if you notice a living creature who seems alone, reaching out might be a good thing.

I understand if you don't have time to comment, but thank you for any kind comments, too. It's important to know this NOW, as I may NOT be able to do individual thank-you's for 's, or in case I cannot respond to each comment, either. Thanks for understanding.
