Description
Dedicated to my dear friend Surglo for her ongoing thoughtfulness and care, and to let her know I'll keep her in my thoughts and heart during my trip- even though always.
Not so long ago, our pregnant stray cat, Dixie at The South Coast Humane Society, a SUPER friendly mostly black cat, with some awesome white markings, like this white little mustache under her nose and with nearly orange eyes, FINALLY gave birth to a very healthy litter of SEVEN kittens!
That's a fairly big litter of kittens... and still they are all thriving quite well!
One of the regular volunteers had already named the Mama cat "Dixie" soon after Dixie's intake, and I was very happy, and honoured that I got to name the whole litter of kittens!
FOUR BOYS:
Dapper, Ducky, Dilbert, & Donovan
THREE GIRLS:
Daphne, Dolly, & Duchess
Yes, I was in a very alliterative mood, but I easily attributed their names with each one by how each name felt with each one, knowing their future owners would likely change them.
I only recently named them- as in this photo they are only 3 days old.
Photographed here, is Donovan, who is the ONLY all-black cat, though he does have a small white dot on his throat.
There are two grey tabbies on white, a tabby/tortie, a full tuxedo, one with marking like his mom- mostly black with cool white markings, and then the one that's mostly all white but with a black tail and a big black marking on its head- and then Donovan, the black one.

[ NOTE: Thank you, in advance, for any 's I may receive for this image. I am honoured and grateful that anyone would think well enough to it. So thank you from the bottom of my heart . I understand if you don't have time to comment, but thank you for any kind comments, too.
It's important to know this NOW, as I may NOT be able to do individual thank-you's for 's, or in case I cannot respond to each comment, either. Thanks for understanding.
And, if you just came to view, I appreciate that, too.
