I support being exactly WHO you are, without fear of retribution in the work place or on any school campus in the USA. I support this, for ANYWHERE in the world, too, of course.
I support ANTI-bullying from anyone who would seek to do harm through physical and/or mental means that would result in any sort of painful outcomes.
As the original dA News Article HERE: [link] states, this particular type of Bullying Awareness was born from LGBT-Bullying, and those who have lost their lives due to the chronic level of such bullying. But as also the original News Article states, "bullying is a wide-spread problem that impacts everyone-"
I support the freedom to be yourself, and be able to move about as freely as possible, [such as the bee in the image above] and do the things you need and want to in life, without such dire worry, pain, and miserable strife from the society that we live in, because of, but NOT limited to:
Unfortunately, we live in a society where we, [kids mostly, but ALSO adults!] are STILL teased, taunted, and tortured to varying and HUGE degrees, to extents that are dangerous, to the point where the various types of abuse have resulted in death.
The top of my Profile Page says, and has said for a long time, "Passion for Compassion" but my whole motto is: "I Have a Passion for Compassion"... and this is a very sincere and genuine truth.
Most of the quotes in my ID Box have been the same for a long time, because I don't feel the need to change them. They further reflect my views on Compassion...
However the very last one I listed there, is very specifically related to this issue here and this is it:
"I'm tired of people being ugly to each other. I'm tired of all the pain I feel and hear in the world everyday. There's too much of it. It's like pieces of glass in my head all the time." ~John Coffey in The Green Mile
Great movie, BEST line in it, and I can never seem to stop relating to it.
I am happy and proud to say that I am part of an online group here at deviantART who is willing to be supportive of something so extremely important as an issue such as this.
And really it's about human decency, its care and compassion.
Thank you dA for being an integral part of spreading this much needed AWARENESS! I support SPIRIT DAY!

[NOTE: I just wanted to say, in advance, how especially grateful for anyone's I may receive for this image. I am honoured that you would enjoy or think well enough of my work here, to it. So I thank you profusely, and from the bottom of my heart . And because I do realize time constraints all too well, I understand, if you are unable to also leave a comment. However, whichever you may do, [or even both! ] I genuinely appreciate it beyond measure. I need you to know this now, in case I'm not capable of doing individual thank-you's for 's, which I've not been capable, or in case I cannot respond to each comment, either. Thanks for understanding. And even if you just came to view! I am also very HAPPY for this! ]
Right on, Tea! I completely agree! People should be free to like what they want, wear what they want, have piercings if they want, tattoos; we should be free to like what we want, without fear of ridicule, comics and music and novels and movies and television shows and internet memes. Personal freedoms are too often spat on by others. But I was raised to believe that if people don't love you for who and what you are, then they shouldn't be in your life and their opinions are worthless. Go mom, lol.
Wonderful image for such a great cause! I spent years growing up being bullied and I do everything I can to stop it whenever I see it whether I know the person or not. Bullying is one of the worst things people can go through and is so painful to all. This is a wonderful cause and so glad to see others feel the same
You're a beautiful artist
Amazing comment, tolerance and respect for others are a must!
