Philippe may be a cat that's completely all sleek black, but he is nothing but light and joy to me!
Like Zorra he is difficult to photograph, and so I am happy when I have a nice one of him!
Philippe was at one of the other places I used to volunteer at, back in California, and he was there for at least six months, possibly more, with no one ever asking about him or showing interest...
He was consistently passed over, time and again... even when I'd get permission to move him to more visible and viable locations... still, nothing.
He was one of the most affectionate cats I'd ever met, since the very beginning, and he has been this way ever since.
I decided to adopt him just before Halloween, a few years ago by now, just in case he would get adopted because of Halloween.
He gets along the best with everyone!
He does hide when anyone comes over though, which is odd, because he's so outgoing with us, the other cats, and whenever we've had one or two dogs at a time.
He's so black, he's almost blue, and his tail is like a cork screw right at the end! He looks like a cat out of a Tim Burton movie! He really is both amazing to look at, and he has an amazing personality, too!
I wish black cats were more popular, because even where I now volunteer here in Oregon, it's the same story. Black cats are passed over more than any other kind, and wait the longest for anyone to adopt them.

Wishing you all much Holiday LIGHT!
