Friends Like Family

Dedicated to my dear friend Sani
for her BIRTHDAY which was on Aug. 11th

I've known Sani a very long time on dA! It seems like I've known her longer than that.
Even if we have not talked for a while, we understand each other because we understand certain things of each other.
She is also like family- like a sister. Sani is a really lovely friend, and I will always be grateful I have met her.
Plus I am a big fan of the variety of her work!
And I will always remember her BIG support of "The Shelter Project".

Sani, I wish you a beautiful year ahead, with good things to happen. My best with everything you do!

The above photo is two of my younger cats. They are actually two of the ones I have raised from the youngest.
Abby is the Tortie on the left, where I raised her from 3 weeks old, and she was very sick off and on.  In the end, she turned into quite a big and fluffy healthy girl!

Xochitl (So-cheel), the white with black, on the right, is the one I raised from her first full day of life! This was a year after Abby. It was quite a daunting experience.  Though Abby is only about a year older, she is VERY maternal with Xochitl, (though all of our cat clan truly accepted Xochitl very easily, which we thought was interesting... because usually it takes a while for at least one or two to accept someone new...)

Anyway, these two can often be seen cuddling together, and even though they did not come from the same litter, and are not blood related, they definitely act like sisters!
