Dedicated to a very kind friend Hilary
for her BIRTHDAY, which was March 7th, [of course I'm running very late... ].
Hilary is a fantastic person, who is very kind-hearted, and I always enjoy her fabulous work, too!
Above, is Zorra, or Zorrita, [or Tita, or a wide range of other nick-names, of which she answers to ALL!]
She is our five pound Calico, whose age no one has ever been sure of, and because she would win the award for "The most Changed Cat, Since Adopted" of all of our cats, we have often referred to her as "The Cat of Mystery": [link]
because she really is the most mysterious.
For the first year, she hid... she didn't like to be out in the family room where it was the most noisy or social, or where the other cats were... she stayed in the bedroom. She was always really friendly to me, when I went in the bedroom, coming out for attention, but we always figured she would remain our shyest cat.
We didn't realize it at the time, but she did start to change gradually, but suddenly one day, we just realized "Oh my gosh" she is actually our most social cat! We realized she was changing because she would come out more to socialize with us and the other cats, but when we'd have people over, she always ran right up to them. I can hold her on her back now, too, which is always an amazing show of trust. "I adora my Zorra!"
A feature of Hilary's amazing work:Dear Hilary,
I have truly appreciated your kindness and support
over the time I've known you on dA.
I hope you keep up your great work, and I honestly wish you the best always!
~~~~~~~~~[ NOTE: Thank you, in advance, for any 's I may receive for this image. I am honoured and grateful that anyone would think well enough to it. So thank you from the bottom of my heart . I understand if you don't have time to comment, but thank you for any kind comments, too.
It's important to know this NOW, as I may NOT be able to do individual thank-you's for 's, or in case I cannot respond to each comment, either. Thanks for understanding.
And, if you just came to view, I appreciate that, too.
