About this poem: I know this writing is a mix of prose and poetry, the most important thing I want to say is...

... that it is Not directed at any one or two or any particular person/s at all, because that's not it's intention.

It is for my friends and everyone I know ... as well as anyone I don't know.

Almost every year, in the last half of living, I have written down something very similar along these lines and concepts regarding "birthdays" and "celebrating in general"... and it's rather just become my philosophy on birthdays, and celebrating life...

It started because when I was little, every year, without fail school would let out for the U.S.A holiday of Thanksgiving, and I would come down with the flu or tonsillitis, strep, etc.,
[not as bad anymore since tonsils taken out- seemed like my body was just "waiting for that break" to give out, though ]
and I could not celebrate Thanksgiving, when it was the one time my family would ever get relatives, who always lived out of state. If we traveled to them, the same thing would happen.

Similarly, many holidays occurred this way. Nowadays, with Chronic Pain Diseases/Illnesses, I've just learned to celebrate *any* moment that I can. I have bad days and good. But I know we all do. We can't always predict when they'll be.

I think anytime is a good time to express thanks and gratitude or wish someone well for the week to come or for the whole year through. I think people are worth celebrating, and worth being made to feel special at various times, as many times possible, if not all times. We do the best we can.

When it comes to good wishes
There is no early, there is no late...
If you feel good at all
that is reason and time to celebrate.
