Comfort and Healing

This is dedicated to my good friend Dave [who many of you may already know, and if you don't, well he's really a great guy! ]
AND this is to his wife, also though I'm not sure she could see see it, but regardless is to whom I've been trying to convey these hopes and feelings of comfort and healing over the distance, ever since she's been in the hospital since before Christmas.

But yes, her first procedure did go well,
but there's just been a lot of waiting and waiting, for the second procedure, and being in a hospital for a very long time is always an uncomfortable thing to endure.

And while I wish comfort, healing, patience, calming, and peace for his wife, I wish the same things for Dave, too.

While I've mostly had to be the ill one in my life, which is definitely no fun, I have also worn the other shoes, and while very different, it may be more difficult to have to watch your companion be the ill one, and seeing them struggle so much and be in discomfort all the time.

This is why THIS image, with ALL of my good wishes and intentions, is just as much for Dave.

Dave is a good person, who is very supportive to me. And if you do know him, you know what I mean, your own self!

He's also a super artist, whose work I've enjoyed ever since I've joined dA! Feel free to visit him, but here are some examples:
