I'd like to dedicate this to my dear friend Sandy and also to my only sibling Brian, both who had young family friends which were also fellow-employees of the companies they each worked for [Sandy's dad's, in her case], pass on very suddenly last week.
There are no good words to be comforting enough, in times when it is difficult to understand such things.
And it is difficult to be of much help, when you live so far from those you care so much about.
I just want them to know how much I care, and that they are cared for by many others, and many thoughts and much love are with them and the families of these two great young men.
Sandy has been very supportive to me in such a variety of ways, and she is a great person, and an amazing friend, and I want to be as supportive as I can be in return, despite the distance.
While my brother may not live quite as far away as Sandy, he lives far enough that I hardly ever get to see him. He manages to be supportive to me in many ways, despite being a very busy and hardworking father. I am very proud of him, and I wish I could be there in person for him.
Blowing in the Wind ~Bob Dylan
How many roads must a man walk down Before they call him a man How many seas must a white dove sail Before she sleeps in the sand How many times must the cannonballs fly Before they are forever banned The answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind The answer is blowing in the wind
How many years must a mountain exist Before it is washed to the sea How many years can some people exist Before they're allowed to be free How many times can a man turn his head And pretend that he just doesn't see The answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind The answer is blowing in the wind
How many times must a man look up Before he can see the sky How many ears must one man have Before he can hear people cry How many deaths will it take till he knows That too many people have died The answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind The answer is blowing in the wind Lyrics HERE: [link] YouTube LINK: [link] Peter, Paul, and Mary's version, because I like it better than Bob Dylan's in this case. Dylan always wrote GREAT lyrics... but sometimes... Well this is just nice.
