Beneath My Wings

This is dedicated to some of my fantastic female Artists/friends living here on the SAME Continent with me, [or at least no ocean separating me], who are especially supportive of me and my work in a variety of ways. In some cases I have known them for a very long time on dA or they've recently been very supportive, or in many cases it's really both!

Also, it's because I may have not gifted them something in a while, or maybe have not ever.

[Please, no need to feel left out, as of course there are more female supporters close to home, like this. But there may be particular reasons for this dedication... ]

Location: Sportshaven Beach, in Brookings, Oregon, just down below my house.

As all my friends know the ocean is my favourite place to be. We also get great sunsets here, too.

In this capture, there was a bird in the wind, and it reminded me of the support the wind gave to its wings...
... and it's how I feel from my all my lovely good friends right here on dA, and I am lucky and blessed, because I am motivated by very similar support ongoing support, help, and feedback.

Thank goodness for such motivation... some days are actually not very easy.

Thank you dear ladies, for all you do, all of your wonderful generosity and support.
I am grateful beyond measure! Thank you for lifting me up...

Very recently, a very old dear friend of mine who I don't believe is on dA, sent me the link to the old movie from 1988 Beaches, and even though a long time ago, I swore I would not watch it again due to the fact it's too emotional for me, I did in fact watch it, because she sent it...
and I've not been able to get to out of my head this song,
