Beloved Sha-shaby `TeaPhotography

EDIT: About a year and 9 months after we adopted Sha-Sha, from Foster Care, which was Jan. 2008, she had to have a 2nd surgery on her Non-Eye, in Sept. 2009, because it had been done incorrectly the first time by the Foster Group's vet.

It had been watering constantly and getting infected, and it took a while to figure out WHY!
Our vet discovered that there was debris and surgical material left behind, from the first surgery!!!

Unfortunately, Sha-Sha had a very rough time with this 2nd surgery, as it became hugely infected at this time, swelling with fluids, and having to be drained several times!

Eventually, with the drainings, and of course antibiotics, and other medications, this 2nd surgery is what she needed, and she finally did heal up okay.

But it was just awful, considering everything this cat had already been through in her very young life, hence her name.

This is a pre-2nd surgery photo, though.

The beloved Sha-sha.

She is one of the two "Originals"- the 2nd one.
Her full name is Seizonsha, which is Japanese for Survivor, a name suitable considering that when we adopted her as a very young cat/kitten, she only had one eye then. No one had known exactly why, except that when she was picked up and taken to foster care first like this, she was badly beaten up, and physically weakened.

However, she's NEVER been weak in any other way, her Spirit is FULL and feisty. When we first brought her home Jan. 2008, and set the messy TINY fluff of orange down, she suddenly developed this very low gutteral GROWL to let the dogs and Jikan know how BIG her personal space was, and that she was not afraid- she never ran from any of them, and quickly acclimated, growing to love them all- she and Jikan have been best buddies ever since.

She's always loved us, and has greeted and loved any other person who has come in the house.

She has TWO very distinct sides, an amazingly wonderful sweet side, and a MAJOR holy terror stinkery/playful side!

We love her very much so.

It's been harder as new additions have come in AFTER her, but she's always turned out to be the easiest and most fun to get along with in the end, for the new catSSSS.
[Yes, that's plural.]

Shes wonderful! I would adopt her in a heartbeat! Even though, as I looked at this picture, tears began to fall from my eyes...I felt miserable and wanted to do anything I could for this cat. I could barely get past the first line of the discription without bursting into tears almost...but then I read on and found out she was perfectly fine...I felt a little better, but the picture made me still cry a bit as I looked at it.

You go Sha-sha! Stay strong
