"Lady Ginger" - one of the many Condo Cats.
I'm pretty familiar with Lady Ginger, she is used to me by now. :)

We have two types of "Condo Cats"-

The many strays... still, as many of which as possible are sort of communally cared for, by some more than others- simply determined by who can afford to more. [We took in our first cat this way. :) ]

The manager who takes care of many strays, as well as has about five now of her own from taking them in [this is one of the ones she's taken in]... does routinely call either of two foster care places in the area, who cares for them and prepares them for adoption... [how we got our own 2nd one.]

And the ones, many of have been able to take in, are distinguished by a collar, if outside- a must-have.

She would have a collar.

We keep ours indoors, it's just better that way considering a lot of things.

I am happy to say, we do have a lot of cat-lovers in our condo area, :D However, on the whole, if people were more responsible, there wouldn't be such an epidemic of UNCARED for cats.

Of course in many instances, this is increasing not just with cats, but with dogs, too, and NOT because of irresponsibility necessarily, but due to the economy, there are a lot of people who feel they have to give up their pets because they can no longer afford to keep them.

Foster and adoption places are filled to the brim, and as well as are other less promising places....

Great shot, I love the composition.
Its sad about all the cats. That's how we came across Chamberlain. He was a stray in our old apartment complex, and he adopted us.
